BREAKTHROUGH.
Everyone needs a breakthrough every now and then.
If you’ve been wondering when your breakthrough will actually happen, maybe your focus needs to be on the SOURCE of your breakthrough instead of the result itself. Check out where Hebrews 12:2 tells us our focus needs to be…
We do this [endure until we see breakthrough] by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the Champion…
Where’s your focus today?

Hi Evangeline, wonderful reminder, but so hard to remember when another cycle begins. As you know we have been ttc since 2010. With every cycle the fear of never becoming a mom rises little more. I try to remind myself that Jesus won the battle for us 2000 years ago, but the “what if I never become pregnant” always seems to creep inside my thoughts. I am desperate for my breakthrough, for years of tears to be over.
Thanks for lifting us up Evangeline, God bless you! Greetings from Norway!
Elisabeth, it’s so good to hear from you again! I’m glad that you’re still gleaning hope and encouragement from my blog. 🙂
So sorry to hear that your struggle continues. I know it’s tough. Allow me point you to the Word. The Bible says to cast all your cares–those things that work at distracting you from believing in God’s willingness to help you–onto God. He wants you to choose to focus on the truth that He is not only able to move mightily on your behalf, but He is also willing to do the seemingly impossible for you. The devil would like nothing more than for you to NOT believe that God is willing to do what He has promised.
Jesus loves you much. You are not alone…He’s there and He cares. Place your confidence in His promises of fertility and healing, speak them aloud, and trust that they will be made manifest in your life. Keep your hope alive by trusting His unfailing love for you! <3
I thank God he is Lord and he is our healer! Thank for sharing!
Yes Trish…He is YOUR Healer and the work of healing that was completed/”finished” on the cross is always available for you to tap into because of Jesus’ love for you. Blessings!
Elisabeth,
You are not alone, I am with you, exhausted by the pain, isolation, cries from my inner most being, I warrant the seeds of hope but my faith/hope is faint!!
Letitita, when the exhaustion sets in is when you’re most vulnerable to be distracted and believe the enemy’s lies that are sent to make you doubt God’s love and faithfulness.
I pray you’ll take time today (and everyday) to refresh yourself in God’s Word. According to Proverbs 4:22, His Word is your miracle medicine for ALL your flesh/body. Remember, what you focus on grows bigger in your life. Choose to focus on Jesus! (Hebrews 12:2)
